Yur Mum

Dirty rock. Bad jokes. Disregard for fashion.

Yur Mum is a live band. We’re all about that inner moment when the sound physically hits you in the gut: The adrenaline kicks in, you lose control of your body and you start moshing.

Our music is in-your-face, just like the band’s name. As a multicultural rock band fronted by a woman, we write music about the things that make our blood boil; social, mental and physical borders, humanity… and the lack of it. We process feelings in the form of raw and energetic rock with an unapologetic punk attitude. We bring our Brazilian-Austrian-Hungarian perspectives into the lyrics and sound.

Formed in 2016 and based in London, UK. We make dirty underground rock with layers of grunge, desert and hard rock, orchestrated by a hybrid of heavy rock and tropical beats.
Yur Mum has toured across the UK and Europe; performing over 150 dates so far. In 2018, we signed to legendary underground label, Flicknife Records, and released our debut album, ‘Road Rage’.

Mama’s recipe contains: dirty & bluesy riffs, subsonic bass sounds, offbeat timing and skittering rhythms, topped by contralto vocals with primal bursts. All delivered with punk attitude.

Run Into The Night

Run Into The Night are a female indie punk rock duo from Glasgow, Scotland formed by Christina Cassette and Ellie May after many late nights of listening to their favourite records.

The band first had success with their first self-released 7? record ‘Turn To Static’ in mid 2017, which reached the Top 100 songs by unsigned bands with Salute Music UK and in 2018 with their second 7” record ‘The Devils Rhythm’.

Since their first release the duo have been touring the UK opening for bands such as Deap Vally, Twin Guns, The Filthy Tongues, Death Valley Girls and performed at various festivals such as EH6, Clarence Park, Girls to the Front and King Tuts Summer Nights.

Performing live is where the band really come to life by delivering raw energetic shows whilst recreating the experimental sound captured on their records.

Run Into The Night’s music has been featured on various radio stations such as Steve Lamacq’s show on BBC 6 Music and are officially a BBC Introducing artist.

Their sound has been compared to Queen of the Stone Age, The Black Keys and Blondie.
