A Goth extravaganza is in store with tributes to the King & Queen of Goth, both releasing their first records in 1978, there’s no doubt Robert Smith & Siouxsie Sioux forged the template for what would later be known as Goth. First you get Siouxsie & The Budgiees with an outstanding set of the Banshees classics featuring Sally Holliday from The Eden House as the Queen herself. Then comes the main event with a special extended set, spanning the full back catalogue of Anthems and lesser known tracks from The Cure. The Cureheads are the original Tribute to The Cure since 1990. Faithfully recreating the sound, looks & smells of a real 1980s concert by The Cure.
With a warm up DJ set from 8pm – 9pm then after the show, you get two rooms of music from Midnight until 3am. One room will host Manchester’s own Zeitgeist playing “Music from the other side!” and in the other, Mutant Movement playing New Wave, Post Punk & Retro Alternative.
