Sat 13th April 2019
@ The Finsbury Pub - London

A fantastic line-up of four amazing bands at one of London’s best live music venues.

Pretty Pistol

Pretty Pistol are a loud four-piece garage punk band born in London.
Combining melds of furious shouts, frenzied riffs and pummelling drums, resulting in a marshalled chaos somewhere between Gallows, Be Your Own Pet and The Kills. The band is an unignorable presence on the London circuit supporting the likes of Penetration, Drones and Crazytown, to headlining and selling out London venues Birthdays and The Black Heart, which lead to them being picked as Team Rock’s Band Of The Week in Feb 2018
The band’s latest EP, ‘Welcome To The Dead Club’, was released on 13th April 2018, recorded with renowned rock producer John Mitchell (Architects, Enter Shikari, You Me At Six) and features the singles ‘Cry Wolf’ and ‘Drive Me To The Dogs’.

7/10 “ballsy!” – Metal Hammer
“This is riot music done right” – Beneath The Grid Music
“Living up to their reputation they put on a chaotic and powerful show” – Vulture Hound

The Muffin Heads

The Muffin Heads are a DIY three-piece punk/grunge/rock sandwich conceived in Essex, made up of front woman/bassist Bex, guitarist Pete and drummer Nick. The band released their debut EP “Don’t Give The People What They Want” in early 2018 with the title track already being debuted on BBC Radio 6 by DJ Steve Lamacq being described as “2 minutes of anti-establishment punk”. The band have recently supported Wonk Unit, Svetlanas and The Soap Girls and have quickly cemented themselves as a must see on the UK underground music scene. With plans to release new music in early 2019, if Hades had a house band it would be The Muffin Heads.

Dutch Mustard

Dutch Mustard are a three-piece rock band from London, formed by front woman Sarah-Jayne Riedel in October 2017. The band’s current line-up consists of Sarah-Jayne (Vocal and Rhythm Guitar), Neyl Nejjai (Lead Guitar), Alex Kemp (Bass Guitar) and Arlen Millward (Drums).
The group’s musical style is a blend of rock with influences of grunge, shoegaze, and alternative rock.
After playing some of London’s most loved venues, the band put together their first single, “I Wanna Be Like You”, recorded at Strongroom Studios by producer and engineer, David Jones.
With the first single under their belt, the band is continuing to play all over the UK and are working on finalising their new material, ready for the next record.
DM plan to release their second single in March 2019.

Three-piece sonic band from Paris and, erm, Luton. Will scream “FOURCHETTE-GENOU!” in your face and do loads of onche-onche ondulé. Nightmare of sound engineers. “There is beer all over my pedalboard!” “Twice I got electrocuted while I was playing!” “Charles Aznavour!”. A VOID will delight you, disturb you, and always surprise you.
